Very interesting I want one!
But mine will need one of these to go with it. 

It's a bed wagon. The bed sets up on top of the frame work and this pan filled with embers sets in the suspended ring beneath it, to warm the bed.

With all due respect Rem...the image name gave it away.

Yup, a bed wagon used to warm the bed covers. Two images and I used the wrong one, dang.
