Can't remember last year's prediction

But if you read

January 2010
8th-11th. Heavy snow spreads in from the west, 7"-14" possible

That is the front that just went through
So it arrived a few days early but it kinda gives you an Idea of what to expect

Yeah and we have some snow moving in tomorrow. a couple inches possible, then a slight warming.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR CENTRAL INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WIND CHILLS FROM ZERO TO 10 BELOW ZERO WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH
MIDDAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

ANOTHER QUICK SNOW FALL IS EXPECTED ON MONDAY. ONE TO TWO INCHES
OF SNOW APPEAR POSSIBLE AT THIS TIME WITH THIS SYSTEM.

ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM MIGHT PUSH TOWARD INDIANA ON FRIDAY NIGHT AND
SATURDAY BRINGING ANOTHER CHANCE FOR RAIN OR SNOW.

So far this year it has been pretty spot on.

All you can do is hope for the best.

Trying not to jinx anything Jimmie

I am truely hoping the weather holds out and we all have a safe trip in and back home

2 years ago the temps were good, mid 40's but we had some shifting winds all in all it was a great time

I would considetr that oen two years ago perfect. The freezing and thawing made for really good scouting conditions. I just hope it is that good this time. But am afraid the ground may stay frozen for some time ot come. Jimmie

I hunted LBL today with no luck but being there and watching the snow made it worth it. At some points you could hardly see. As far as LBL I hope some of the roads get a little better. With all the rain we have had some of the road are hard to pass. Most of the fords are filled with water and the lead ups are washed out leaving a large deep gap to the concrete crossings. I do hope some of this is fixed. If any one has any questions on areas feel free to ask. I'm there about 4 or 5 days a week if not more. Hope this finds you all doing well. Happy hunting.

Looking at the extended forecast looks like mid to high 40's for highs and 28 to 32 for lows.

Does anyone have a window A/C unit they could bring for Barry to keep him cool. I am afraid he will try and plant a garden or something while at the LBL thinking it is spring.  :laf:

Those roads won't be fixed by the time we get there if at all this winter. Mark them on a map and keep tabs on them if you can. Although I am pretty sure your talking about the ones on Crooked creek. That drainage is a bit large for those type  of crossings.

As for Barry, I will throw my topper back on and he can sleep comfy and cozy with hte rest of hte snow birds.  :eyebrownod: Jimmie

All jokes aside, this air down here is damp and tends to get inthem old bones pretty quick. Temps may be a heat wave to Barry, but all yah'll be prepared. She's looking like a roller coaster ride according to local news this morning. Jimmie
