That's great Jim and she surely is a cutie. Grandkids are great you will enjoy your time with her. If'n I had known grandkids were so much fun I would have never had kids, just grandkids.

Thanks guys. Yeah shes pretty much Grampas world. Shes with me more then she is her Father. Katie and I certainly do not have a problem with that.

Lucky for her, Dan, and nastygunz..Katie's into hunting and fishing and camo so I dont have to convert her.

Her wardrobe is already got several different types of camo, a nice Carhartt coat and stocking cap. She dont have a gun yet but her first pole is out in the shop awaiting.

I hear ya on all accounts Jim. Mandy called Monday morning saying she had a little boy squeeze out so my wife is now a grandmother. The tyke has a 25-06 with his name being engraved on it. Guess if he grows up hating hunters I'll have a gun with a big wear spot on it.

If this is your first grandchild, knowing your style, you are going to be as besotted as grandpas get! It is OK to tell grandpa stories here.

When our first was born, it was 100 miles by odometer from our driveway to his. My wife and I would drive over there after work to see him for 15 minutes, then have supper on the way home. His parents finally asked both sets of grandparents to QUIT buying toys and stuff for him.
