Can any one tell me what the weatherby vanguard synthetic in 223 would be like for coyote hunting

centerfire_223

It would definately kill em dead. The .223 is a great coyote round and pretty cheap to shoot. I love mine.

centerfire_223 what model 223 do you have

clousewt

I have the Weatherby Vangaurd in 30-06 caliber. I love it. It shoots tight groups and doesnt have the kick most 06's have. I put a 3x9x50 Simmons scope on it, you wouldnt believe the light this thing grabs in low light conditions. I love mine, I would also like to have the same rifle in .223 If anybody has one for sale let me know. Thanks Tom Clouse

I have one in 22-250 and it surely knocks them down. That rifle is not that expensive.

:rolleye: ...after the way Weatherby has dealt with a new gun problem I will NEVER own another one  there customer service sucks $3000 + package  and they refuse to deal with the problem

The weatherby vanguard is a howa 1500, well built accurate rifle.
