Free E-caller giveaway

Western Rivers is blessing us with a free E Caller every quarter in 2009. To give away to you our members as we deem appropriate.

The callers they are giving us will be the Day Stalker MP3 Caller.

Since we have an annual contest for fishing, and give away Cabelas and BassPro giftcards boughten from funds in the FNF Bank.....
and Turkey contests funded in the same manner, along with the Buck and Bow contests...were turning to you guys as our members for ideas on this Promo Give away.

What kind of contest would you like to see implemented to hand these callers out to you folks?

Let's hear some ideas. And to make it interesting and spark some interest, who ever comes up with the best idea and is the one we choose to run with, gets the first Western Rivers Day Stalker E Caller.

I dont know about other areas but here in good ole WV about all we can really use an ecaller for would be yotes and predators and crows so how about a predator competition and then have a crow competition would need a little more filling out the details for both but I only got 5 mins till I head home so will elaborate later

I would think as they are giving four of them, that at least 2 be raffled off to help out with the FnF bank fund.  Some sort of coyote contest ie; biggest,most or prettiest.  Possibly a photo contest or call maker's contest ie; biggest, most or prettiest.

I say give at least one of the callers to a youth hunter. Maybe a youth predator hunting contest? To qualify send a photo of the youth hunter with the kill. The photo could be with crows, hogs and other varmints to get participation up.

Assign each youth entry a number then once the contest deadline is up draw the winner from the entry pool. Or you could set up a poll for forum members to vote on the youth entries.

A youth hunt prize for sure,and the pics can be posted by a parent grandparent aunt or uncle.

One auctioned,or raffled off to help fund the FNF Bank.

One given to the hunter with the best colored coyote.That will be determined by a member vote

All adults who enter the contest must be an active member here on this board not someone who just pops in to take the prizes from everyone else

How about one for the best youth write up with pics no matter what the subject is hunting, fishing, trapping, spinning a call.............what ever as long as its a youth thing. Just put a time fram on it and let'm rip. Heck might even gets some youth signing up. And the members can vot eon it too? Like get'n the youth involved. Heck Jim give them all to youths.

Essay.........IE A hunting adventure or story to be voted on by other members With pics.
Best wild game recipe......... with picks 
FNF Shooting Comp...........We shoot, 1 custom target 5 shot group 400yds or something like that and send picks in for entry:biggrin: 
Egg Shoot or something on video at long range

I think a minimum number of posts here for any contests. That should keep new members from signing up & winning then just leaving. Or at least a,, example>>  "Member since Dec. 1st 2008" stipulation.

A Eastern contest AND a Western contest for predators.

At least one auctioned/raffled off for the FnF Bank.

On the Youth idea I would like to see hand written stories from the youth themselves about their BEST day in the field. It can be comraderie with an adult that takes the time to take the kids, a youths 1st coyote, deer, or even a squirrel. These can be scanned & voted on I think.

The one I would really like to see,, altho I have no idea how to do this one,, is 1 caller raffled/auctioned & the proceeds go to the Ministry Forum right here at the Friends n Family Forums.

I always enjoy the hunting stories folks write up. A caller doesn't really aply to fishing but who ever wrote up the most hunting stories in say the last 4 months should get one. You know they'll use it, and it could turn into an every 4 month thing. It will encourage folks to be more active and post some great stories. And I'll get to read them  I'm not interested in having one myself (call maker) so if you use this idea you can give it to that little fella that was hold up that huge coyote, couldn't find the post but that was wayyyy cool!
