First time I've seen a turkey that color.  I wonder if it had some domestic mixed in.   :wo:   Anyways, a truly unique bird.  I'm surprised the beard was that short on it.  The fan looked full so it wasn't a jake.  Nice video!   :congrats:

That is a good vid and a much appreciated one I might add.  Never seen one in the wild yet so was quite impressed.  I still think that the guy who made Jurassic park the movie was either a turkey farmer or hunter.  The dinosaurs and turkeys move with the same look.

Thanks for the raptor look alike movie canine.  I am totally convinced that they just shot vids of turkeys for that movie and used their motion.  I'm glad I wasn't the one shooting there cause you'd a kicked my    .   I would have watched them gobblers and never would have thought of shooting[some hunter eh].  Nice to see a young fellow get his though and I'm sure I'd of lost the foot race as well.

J.D., I have killed a lot of turkeys and seen one hell of a lot when I was still hunting them, but like you, I have never seen one that color before.  The dark, round spot on its fan is really unique too.  He sure looked like a mature tom to have a short beard like that.  Congrats on a good video.

Thanks guy's! Those are 2 of 5 kills I filmed this spring. I also filmed 2 coyotes bust up stands by chasing incoming turkeys off and a couple other coyotes called in from long distances with pup distress. I had a pretty good time this past spring and Am looking forward to bow season! Along with calling season!
