Holiday Blues?

do they affect any of you like they do me? i love and dread the holidays at the same time and not because of the money spent.

I get them bad. My family is all over the country and I dont get to see them like I should. Only get my kids for a couple hours Christmas afternoon and that sucks.

I don't get them. No matter how bad things might seem to me I know there are other folks out there that have it worse. One of the most uplifting things I've ever seen was believe it or not on tv. If you've never seen the Special Olympics you have no idea what you are missing. Seeing those smiles & hearing all the laughter in those interviews will ring thru your ears forever. And I do realize it is tough dealing with the Holidays when you've lost Family members or even dear Friends. But you are still alive & you can rest assured they would not want you to feel sad this time of year. This is truly the time to reflect on all the good things you enjoyed in life while they were here with you. And then to relax in the piece of mind that they are in a far better place right now.
