Title: High Country Fishing
Post by: JohnP on December 13, 2022, 10:53:33 AM
Our daughter and her family spent a few days fishing in the high country. She is determined to outdo me in deer hunting and fishing!

Niiice trout, especially for high lakes!

You prompt good memories of fishing high backpack lakes mostly in British Columbia. Thanks for posting!

Not Apache could be Commanche, Navaho, or even Blackfeet.

I always wondered where the name Blackfeet came from? did somebody step into a buffalo pie?

"The name Blackfoot is said to have come from the color of the moccasins they wore. The color is said to have come from dying the bottoms black. There is also the guess that they traveled through the ashes from prairie fires which turned their moccasins black."

Florida, the "Fishing Capitol of the World" and our top fishing state, is where you should cast your line. The Sunshine State issues the most non-resident fishing licences, tags, permits, and stamps in the country with more than 720,000 issued annually. Although Orlando and Miami are frequently visited by tourists, the state boasts many coastlines. (https://makeatea.com/earl-grey-tea-recipes/)
