In so many ways
While out hunting today on our 3rd stand we set up near this old graveyard that the vandals had their way with


You can see part of a head stone in the lower right side of the pic that was about 200 feet from the graveyard







I think this is the only stone that went untouched











When I was at this spot in November everything was intact
When I seen this today I wanted to 
What kinda Assholes would do this
All I can say is Whoever did this can thank their lucky stars I didn't catch them at it
Cause after they fixed this place up they would be digging some holes about 6 ft deep

I know how ya feel Bill......I own a Civil war graveyard......it is in the middle of no where and the vandals drive ATV's I put up a cable to deter them and the just cut there way back in and trash the place! 
I tried calling the historical society for help and the first thing they want to do is put it on the news and tell everyone where it is!!!!!!!! Just so they can get a pat on the back and I get some money for fixing it once.......mean time if it were on the news I would imagine the problem would be worse....MORE PEOPLE WITH ATV"S!!!!!!!!! 
I do not know what to do with it but I am ready to.......well I wont say but..........
I have had the boy scouts out a couple of times to help clean it up and a week later BEER CANS everywhere!!!!!!!! If I catch someone doing this I can assure you I will go to jail right along with them!!!!!!!!

know what you mean Al had some punks doing this up here when I was still a teenager me and a couple of buddys decided we had enough and did a little huntin needless to say once we caught em a bit of smack down was lain and then we made em fess up and help restore the grave yard I would love to check out that civil war yard if I ever get to get up your way and I promise I all I will leave is foot prints and take some personal pics that I wont tell no one

This is a huge problem everywhere on these remote cemeterys. It's constantly on the new.
What ever kind of people get off by doing these things is going to be seriously so stupid their be dangerous.

Bout the only solutions I can come up with is either booby trap the hell out of the place, or find someone that has a trailcam safe, that'll borrow it to you, and catch them in the act.

Don't do the booby trap thing.   It is against the law and will get you sued.   Don't ask me how I know.
