This picture was probably taken in the 1960's. It was taken on an infamous indian reservation that these three guys were allowed to hunt on at the time. The old fellow to the right was considered by his peers to be the finest predator caller/hunter of his time. The younger fellow, in the middle, was his son. He was four times world calling champion. The fellow to the left was also a world calling champion. Who are they?

No idea, but I can't wait to find out.
I think the guy on the left is me. I am about the right age and two of us shot about that many ground hogs one weekend in the mid 60s. I even wore the same kind of camo that they are wearing. Sorry to say there is no picture.
Jerry
I have no idea who they actually are, but the rest is true.
First names are from left to right, Jim, Bill and Sam. One was from California and the other two were from Arizona. All you need is a copy of a book called the varmint hunters digest.
Jim Dougherty (California) and Bill and Sam Dudley (Arizona)
That's my guess
Al Woodard
Holy coyote pile!
I knew who they were but Al beat me to it. :innocentwhistle:
There is actually a pretty good write up on them here

Some might find it interesting - and one of the authors is present I believe.
Al Woodard
Congratulations, you guys got it! That was kind of fun, don't ya think? Maybe I'll try to dig up some more pictures.
My friend Frank and I wrote that article about 10 years ago, where'd ya find that at?
