I am feeling better with my back but after hunting today I am real sore and got a knot swelled up on my back. :shrug:
If the doc says I am gtg I will be there! :yoyo:
I am not taking any vacation for deer season just so I can save it for the LBL So I am seriously going for it. :wink:

I'll be there! I've already got Feb 5,6,7 & 8 off for it. :yoyo: I'm planning on staying in a Cabin at Wrangler's again.

I wish I could but its during our busy season here at the resort and I can not get the time off but I will be thinking about all the good times you guys will be having  :yoyo:

      I guess we will just have to do our best to have a good time without you guys.  I sure enjoyed it there last year.  I've been looking forward to returning ever since.  For those of you who can't make it I will try to take lots of pictures so you can share it with us vicariously.  Last year I was a newbie, still am, but at least I will start knowing who some of you are.  It will be nice to visit face to face for a while.  I know Al, Jason and some of the other guys planning to join us this year are also looking forward to it.  Maybe some things will change and some of you who aren't planning on coming will be able to change your plans and join us!!

Hey Guys, Looks like I am going to have to go in the red column. I took a job working on the road again and am right now working about 70-80 hours a week. I am suppose to report to south Georgia for a outage on Feb. 2, so i know I won't be able to make it again this year. Hopefully next year.

Ronnie how about your partner that was with you? Can he make it alot of us guys enjoyed talking to him too.

Sorry to hear you aint coming Ronnie you will be missed.

He is wanting to come but is looking for someone to go with. Anyone that lives close by and wants a jam up partner, I'll loan him to you but you have to make sure you send him back. Anyone interested contact CarolinaCoyote on here.

I need a fairly decent count of how many we are going to have before I call the gal at t restetraunt. My best guess is more than forty if things don't change. There are quite a few from the Ky hunting board that have commited or are considering it. She needs the best guess we can give her before she buys vittles. Jimmie

is there anyone who can send me over some info on this, as in places to stay, prices, maps, license required, any and everthing you can, it would be greatly appreciated...  i would like to attend if i can get it all pulled together quickly....

  Spoke with nor-cal yote on the phone I will pick him up at the airport in Nashville Tn Thursday afternoon. Glad he can make it he is a great guy and will fit right in.

where do you get the LBL permit

kyfuzzyface I don't know on the Kentucky side but on the TN side most all the stores there in Dover sell them. I am sure Semp or Jimmy can help you out on the KY side locations.

Also LBL hunting permits can be had at the LBL office @ Golden Pond Visitors Center.
In Tennessee they can be bought online at the TWRA website or at any location that sells hunting license.

hey this is Mike one of the PA boys that hunted with frogman and wv_yoter. I will be attending this year and will be bringing a new partner. My partner from last year, Donnie will not be able to attend this year. I had a blast last year and look forward to seeing everybody again. Can anybody tell me if the diner is going to be open for this years hunt?
P.S It took me awhile to get on here but now I am on and wanting to share hunting stories and pictures with you guys.

no I gave it to wv_yoter but he has been working a lot. I bought your eastern coyote video and love the last scene :congrats:. I made two new howlers, they seem to work alright but havent had much time to go out.

Howdy  Fellas!!!!!!!!!!
             Some of you guys may remember me. Going to try to make the LBL hunt this year.  I just got back from Northern Ontario where myself and ole T Harris matched wits with some big Timber Dogs. Man, What a HUNT!!! Tempertatures hovered around -40 degrees farenheight. Snow 3 to 4 feet deep. Wind chill at -70 or more. Thrilling rides on snowmobiles back into the bush, and yes, lots of wolves.  But don't let that "lots of wolves" statement fool ya. They don't give up that fur easily by any means. One wolf in particular, made 4 hunters seasoned hunters look pretty foolish, although he is carry'n a chunk of lead around with him complements of T Harris and his 225 SSM. And YES! I did kill a nice black wolf on day One of a five day hunt! Looking forward to seeing everyone at the LBL!!!  Tell ya all about it there. kyray

I'm not going to make it to the LBL Hunt. I wish you all well and I'll see you next year if The Good Lord's willing.

I was really hoping to make it this year, on the Monday after last years hunt the dogs were answering like I've rarely heard. I scouted the Tennessee side, from the state line to the fort stopping about every 1 to 2 miles and had 42 different yotes answer! Hope you guys can get some!
