I have accepted the challenge and will savor the victory this coming fall. In fact I am so damn confident that I will beat this that not only have I bought a new caller but also a new AR, DPMS Oracle.

Happy to see this, John!
Your strong willed mind and inner strength are now just waiting for the fall.

"now just waiting for the fall."
And I thought we were friends!

Coyotes and bobcats-- look out! You'll probably shoot another cougar on your way to your fist calling stand. :highclap:
When I was going through various stages of blindness I got a large computer screen plus a radiation barrier, made the font huge and would put my face up to the screen and read about hunting and fishing. That's when I found this site. I thought about what I wanted to do when and if I got better, and regretted that I had not kayaked more when I could, because I enjoyed it. I researched the ideal kayak for me and bought it at the first glimmer of recovery. Best toy I ever bought, and it has value to me above its price and utility that I cannot express.
That new AR is the best medicine you've got.
Nice looking rifle. What glass on top?
I really hope you can make it to LBL next year.
Vortex Strike Fire, but I took it off and put a Nikon P-223 on it. Was going to the range last week but right before we left I got to trembling pretty bad so range report will have to wait.
I hope so too Johnny and if at all possible I will.
