and it doesn't seem like they ever do for me either. I had a friend of mine that I hunt with brought me some fur by. They have killed 46 bobcats off of their farm in the last 3 years. I am suppose to go down for a hunt in December. I can't wait. Here is what he dropped off at the house last week. I have got to go get 2 more bobcats in the morning that they got off of their farm this week.

I learned something today... it takes me forever to skin a fox, bobcat or anything else for that matter. What is a normal time to skin a fox, it was taking me a least 30 minutes or more per fox. I gave away all of that fur, but I am thinking about keeping one of these new bobcats. Carl told me it was a whopper sized cat. I may need to have it tanned.

Anyone know of a good tanner?????

30 min isn't all that bad. The more you do the faster you'll get. I've read of guys who get dozens every year being able to skin them in less than 10 min. and I can do coons probably that fast, but it takes a bit longer on the dogs and cats cause I leave the paws on. For me, the paws is what takes the most time.

It seems like it was something like River rat or FnF'r of something like that.
Said his hair got cut though and he lost all of his strength. :roflmao:

It takes me about ten minutes to skin a fox. 30 minutes for a coyote.

I had a guy do some furs for me. They turned out great. I'll see if I can remember his contact info...........

I met him once. Sure was an ugly cuss.

But you gotten together more then once with that jerk. He's hunted with you, he's ate many meals with you, he's slept with you... :shck:...ok we wont go that far.....in the same room though.
