OK guys I wanted you to know, I have been working on better photos and I ain't got it yet but here is where I am.........I bought two work lights as Al (THO) suggested. I made a light tent out of an old T-shirt and an old file frame from a filing cabinet. (you can see the pocket on the T- shirt in the photo...) :roflmao:
I had my wife take the photos as a few of you suggested... :eyebrownod:
I think they are getting better....What do you think?

THO Game Calls

You might try going to WalMart and picking up a white window shade.  They run about 5 bucks for a small one.

The ends have metal things on them that hook to the brackets on the window.  Pull them out or cut them off.  One side has a spring so that might be tough to pull out but you can always cut it off with a saw.   THen cut the shade in two equal parts.   Run a wood dowle through the tube the shade is on, then you can set that on top of your light box and roll it down for a picture and back up when you are done.  Keeps it clean.  But if it gets dirty, you can clean them with Fantastic of 409 or any spray cleaner.  The shade should last a long long time and gives a nice white background.

While you are at WalMart, get some of those elastic hair bands the girls use for pony tails.  THey work really well for keeping the shade together when you pack it away.

THO Game Calls

I mentioned it because you said you needed a new backdrop.  This is cheap, very effective and last a long time.  I even have the pictures to prove that I use the same thing and it works.

It has the mode :

Focus modes  normal, landscape, macro
Focus range  normal: 2.0 ft (0.6 m)–infinity
macro (wide): 5.1 in.–2.3 ft (0.13–0.7 m), (tele): 8.7 in.–2.3 ft (0.22–0.7 m)
landscape: 32.8 ft (10 m)–infinity

You just gotta find it and try it out.  Its for close up pictures.

That model has alot of options for a point and shoot, you just gotta play with it  :yoyo:

More than likely the macro setting sign is a flower.

When in this mode you can take closer shots that are very crisp/clear, as close as 5.1 inches to 2.3 foot away.
