Post by: vayotehowler on May 29, 2013, 09:59:45 PM
I bought a masterbuilt smoker this past Friday. has the window and remote. bought some back loin ribs at wal mart. used sportsmans warehouse st Louis honey bbq rub and put on and poured on some peach balsamic vinegar over night. Used hickory and pecan smoke for 3 hours , the foiled for 2 hours with 1/4 cup apple juice, and the was bout to pour out rendering and used as base for homemade sauce. 1 hour in smoker to firm and maaannnn. delicious.     the sauce , the rendering out of the foil, peach vingerate to taste , ketchup 1/4 cup, local honey 1/4 cup. perfect sauce lil sweet and tangy with vinegar , had smoke and fat to flavor from rendering . got a sweet taste then the tangy and a  smoky finish.   have pics on cellphone but cant get to post ...

I'll have to try this one.  My 1st time making them was about 3 nights ago.  Pork ribs - they were a little overdone, but tasty.  Overate a little - not good.  :rolleye:
