Title: Tracks that tell a story II: Cougar kittens playing in snow
Post by: Okanagan on May 05, 2015, 11:33:48 PM
More pics from several winters back.  Easy interpretation and I promise not to philosophize about track comments!  :iroll:

I came on tracks where a momma cougar and at least two kittens stopped awhile and the kittens romped, wrestled and rolled in the snow.   Every track and mark in the snow below is made by a cougar.

Close up of one of the concentrations of tracks.  The kitten tracks are a little over 2 inches wide.  The ruler in the photo is 4 inches long (10 centimeters).

And I loooooove those kinda stories :eyebrow:
Why would you promise not to philosophize? How are we going to learn if you promise not to philosophize?
