They all three look really good, but I really like shape and style of the lil' one. Heck even the wood combo is sharp on that call.
Nice Job Doc.
Wow your coming up fast there Doc I hope you are having fun with it also

Todd apparently has good taste in calls as he likes the same one as I do. :eyebrownod:
I like blackwood used in calls. Infact I think that is the first all blackwood call I've seen? :wo:
Thanks fellas, I am haveing fun with it. Jerry the blackwood is hard as rock. I tought I would never get her rough in lol. The grains in that wood are beutiful. I sanded up to 1500 grain and put on the teak oil AL suggested. I buffed the call some. I will have to make a few more out of the wood in the future. If you are gonna turn blackwood I suggest keeping your tools sharpe. Im ready to start on some open reeders lol.
Blackwood may be hard, but it comes off in the nicest spirals. As soon as I get chips or powder I know it is time to sharpen. I turned a little Blackwood this morning that won't be ready till next month.
