Yeah but besides the coloring...look how slender, dark and tall the legs are...just like a red fox. It's out of proportion.
I think that is because it is still in it's summer coat. I agree red phase coyote.
I'd say skinny coyote....check out that black tipped tail.

I've seen 1-coyote that was banana yellow & one that was red as an apple. A few yrs ago a group of hunters. Killed an albino in my old coyote stomping grounds. I have seen an all (pale white) coyote, but never a pure white one.
I seen a very blonde coyote setting up on a hay bale one day while groundhoggin. Wind was in his favor & he didn't stay there for very long. The Farmer seen him one time as well.
Kinda makes ya wonder what causes all the variations. And then there's the black ones.
