my niece took this picture in her backyard of what appears to be a black squirrel!

Once they get started they will be seen everywhere. I saw my first black squirrel in Canada around 1968 when I went there on a bear hunt. Bear HUNT, not bear kill.
she thought it was a weasel and said it was "cute".
Lots of black squirrels around Vancouver, in Canada. Lots in mid-city Stanley Park, and we had a few black ones 40 miles or so up the valley in Abbotsford.

I wasn't going there, but since you mentioned it . . . . .
Im plotting on how to get his hide and not get caught :innocentwhistle:
you know what they say once you get one black squirrel in the neighborhood pretty soon you'll be overrun with them.
:eyebrownod: trap it
i'm not worried about me catching the squirrel I'm worried about my niece catching me catching the squirrel...catch?
Just wait a year and there will be many more for you to catch.
