Post by: nastygunz on August 04, 2022, 03:15:34 PM
98° in New Hampshire! and that is Grandpa Pete's pipe and tobacco pouch, a family heirloom.

Don't wish heat on anyone.

It is 64 F here at 3:00 PM, though it was up in the 80's last weekend.

I hate the heat and with our humidity it makes it ungodly.
We've had a couple real cookers in the mid 90's. Today was decent for a change. Now they are calling for 96 again Saturday. :doh2:

I had a Grandpa Pete. His real first name was Lester, as was my father, but everyone called him Pete. He was a character, barber, and smoked cigars.

Grandpa Pete was a lifelong dairy farmer, very quiet soft-spoken man and hard working well into his 80s. he did keep a bottle of blackberry brandy hidden out in the milk parlor though ha ha
