"Ol Bodger"..

"Bodger" is an Old English word for Bowl Turner.

I don't know if you all remember these (below)?  They are some Black Cherry bowls I rough turned out of a log that Dave and I cut on his island way back a few years ago.

These were still green, so I had to dry them in my shed after shaping.



I used my bowl coring tool to separate the bowl blanks from the core (below).



Seems I forgot about them until recently.  They had dried nicely, and were just right for re-turning.  So off to the lathe they went...
Here they are turned and finished.
