We don't have any saguaro cactus in the region I call in but I have seen cats in the thickest nest of cacti you could ever imagine.  I do have a good friend in the Phoenix area who told me his bird dog once put a bobcat up a saguaro. 

They don't hide from me anymore, as I can hardly make it outside of the house.

 I was wondering if he was sitting up there using that as a vantage point looking for prey.
