Jerry I don't know if a guy could hold one by the lip even if he had the leather gloves on, lol. Those teeth are like literal razor blades.
It's pretty rare to even get one landed without a steel leader. You're line just brushing those teeth one time and it's Goodnight Irene [emoji1787]

When I was a kid I remember we caught some in Canada on a fishing trip. Steel leaders and one of the people in the boat had a piece of galvanized pipe about a foot long. Pike made it to the boat and the pipe was put to work. As I remember they were pretty boney.
They are just a bad ass fish all around, one of my favorites!
Yah they are very boney, and filleting them out is a skill for sure. But the meat is so delicious. Nice clean white meat.
