I started putting a little bit of feed out down below the house.  Just to see if the deer were still in the area?  I have not seen that injured buck from last year.  So I supposed he might have succumb to his injuries?  Ah well... In the meantime we've so far seen 14 does.  Here's a group of five that have been running the feed piles.  This band will chase off all the others until they are done eating.  The lead doe plowed her way across the field through over 2 foot of snow!  I'll get some good photos for paintings before the Winter is over.

Hope you enjoy the photos!

Dave,

I don't care what the others say about you.     I think you are alright! And so do the deer.  Well, except for the ones that you eat.

Is that a lot of snow for you guys Dave?
Our deer were herding up in groups of around 20 a few weeks ago.
