Title: Polychokes?
Post by: nastygunz on August 22, 2010, 09:40:03 PM
I see a ton of info about patterning shotguns with different chokes and loads and many on #4 buck shot...I have used a Polychoke2 on my Mossberg 835 for years and am a big fan...thinking about getting one for my M2000 semi...I was curious if anyone else uses one or has done any extensive patterning with one?

It gets a 5 star rating from Shotgunworld on a 1-5 scale:

Nasty, I had a polychoke on a Remington semi model 58 Sportsman many years ago and it performed well in all kinds of hunting conditions.  Haven't heard of anyone using them much anymore but I would think they still work well.

Interesting...I just got an email from the Polychoke guy Todd Martin and he said hes gunna try n have a .410 one done by the end of the year...id like one on both of my .410 handguns!...due to lack of available chokes for .410 I bet it would be a big seller...theyve been in business a long time so they must sell a few !!
