I gave a young feller, that lives not too far from me, permission to trap my property. This makes 8 yotes and 5 cats so far this year not all on me. He had to release 2 of the cats due to a season limit of 3.

If he is getting catches like that he knows what he is doing.

He does. Last year he caught I think 11 yotes.

That should help your deer and turkey population!

Golly it's great to see a young fella potting fur on the boards.  Good job  :yoyo:

He pulled most of his traps until we can get rid of some of this mud. He is still whacking them taking a rather large one yesterday. I think he's up to 10 so far this year

That area must be overloaded with coyotes!  He is Thinning them out at a pretty good clip.  :yoyo:

Okanagan

Wow!  From what little I know of the east, he is doing a phenomenal job.  Ditto to pitw, really good to see a young man learning and knowing how to trap, read sign, and put up fur.  Good for him!

He works, traps and and hunts. He has about a half dozen small farms in the area that he rotates his trap line on. The yotes seem to be particularly bad this year. I hear them most every night.

Do I hear 20. :highclap:
He’s working on it. I texted him this morning while he was running his line and he didn’t have anything. His focus is starting to shift lol. We’re talking about trout fishing now...then it will be crappie and perch.
