Gotta admit, I do the pop tart thing too.  :yoyo:
They're so  easy to throw in a pack, and still good even if
they get crumbled up.
I got out this afternoon/early evening. Didn't see anything,
but I did hear a couple gobbles. They do exist.  :eyebrownod:

I seen one cross the road today,so ya might want to keep that in mind for locating birds  :nono:

I was hunting in VT with a buddy....roading along an old dirt road and stopping n calling every now n then...never heard a bird....all of a sudden a big tom runs across the road right in front of the truck....this is heavy woods no fields...we whipped down the road about 100 yards......hit the woods I settle in under a tree...my buddy stays behind me about 50 yards....commences to calling with his lynch box call......the bird sounds off loud and closes fast...RAN right to us...I heard him in the leaves before I saw him....nailed him at about 15 yards....we use that spot n cut ahead of technique alot....works especially good when you hunt woods and not fields  :yoyo:
