When you open up an old thread and it shows the photobucket thingy instead of the picture.  I found an add on for firefox that allows them pics to be viewed again.

Sure made it nice to look up old threads to see what I needed.

Thats interesting.
Photobucket basically dropped a bomb on all their clients and decided that their free image hosting was no longer going to be free. Which pretty much put everyones stored photos in a hostage situation.
Some think it was a setup from the git go. To get as many customers as possible through a "free access" policy first.
I havent figured out how the FireFox extension works though because from the outside the image address looks the same with the extensions as it does without.
Anyway...good find and nice work by someone out there :eyebrow:
