OK heres the deal. I started sorting out my 38special brass and found that i have around 700 once fired cases. So I figure it is time to start rolling some up for some plinking time out of my J-frame and my ruger blackhawk. What bullets would some of you suggest. I am mainly looking for suggestions for plinking and target practice. I am planning on purchasing them in bulk so I can reload for awhile on one purchase.
Slag , I use 148gr dewc with 2.7 - 2.9 gr Bullseye. I cast my own wadcutters but when I buy bullets I get 158gr Semi-Wadcutters and push them with about 4.6 to 5 gr Unique. I use the same loads in all my 38s,airweight J frames and steel K frames. Beartooth makes good bullets as well as Lasercast , Hornady,Remington and several others. Good Luck to ya!
