Picked one up today, kinda neat history,

I have had my share of opinels. Good knives and not all that expensive.
I like the sheath.
I got a good deal on that set, they're $50 at L.L. Bean. An old fella I know has really bad arthritis in his hands and couldn't use the collar on it and it was a gift to him so he sold it to me for 25.00
Sweeet!!! That's a hell of a price. My cousing Darren has quite the collection Of opinels. I on the other hand am sad to say I no longer own any. Might have to change that sometime.
You don't see too many knifes with actual wood handles these days!
Well...it's definitely a nice looking knife :eyebrow: What is the blade actually made of?
You can get opinels in either stainless or carbon steel. I like the carbon steel ones but the do take a touch more care than the stainless but that's nothing new.
I think they make a fillet knife to :eyebrow:

Didn't know about the fillet knife

Dang, that's a nice folding fillet knife.
Never knew they made that.
I am pretty sure one of those is going to find its way into my tacklebox before spring. :yoyo:
Damn that is a sharp looking knife - may end up under my tree!
I really like the one I have and the workmanship is really good in my opinion especially for the price which is not that much.
