Either or, you can put the gun in it with the clip facing to the right of the gun or facing to the left of the gun and wear it inside or outside. It is unambidextrous .
It looks like it would want to tip. I use to use one similar but didnt like it cause my bending and sitting always tipped the grip out. Granted it was a much cheaper version.
You are right that is a neat little holster. I put one in my cart so it will be in my next order hopefully report back in on it in a few weeks. As a lefty it is harder to find holsters.
I like it for chest carry while fishing, hiking about, etc. Fits a lot of styles and guns. Doesnt fit medium,big revolvers like my Ruger GP100.
