Nobody in the family can figure out what those two wooden things hanging on the wall are, anybody know?

First glance I thought that they were net needles but when I enlarged the pic they are similar in overall shape but not like any net needle I've seen.  Loom shuttle makes sense.

Very common item in the south back in the day when there was a cotton mill on every corner , still a few around but far between.
