Title: Patina
Post by: nastygunz on January 09, 2018, 08:16:40 PM
Anybody ever use vinegar or mustard to put an aged patina on a knife or axe or tomahawk? I just tiger striped my Mora knife today:

Nope.  In fact I have never heard of doing it this way before.  How deep does it penetrate?

Just surface penetration but it is not a coating it actually cuts right into the metal works pretty slick. Bunch of information on YouTube about it.
