Looks like they have a pretty good build.  My only suggestion would be to replace the hanging light bulb with a 'real' fixture.

Looks like your going to be quite busy then.  Kind of cool process though. Do you lie assembly line build them and how fast to complete one?

Any chance of an old codger buying one to put on his own land?   :wo:

Good eye Jerry. That put picture should have been further up in the line. They do that so that the drywall finishers and trimmers don't smash the fixtures up.

I don't think FEMA would sell one to anybody Clyde. And you really wouldn't want one they're about as basic and as ugly as you can possibly get. I'm actually kind of surprised they're paying us to build them. We build pretty expensive top of the line homes only available through dealers. I would think they could have saved some big dollars by having some of these other manufactured housing companies pump these out at a lower cost.

It's kind of like an assembly line Todd. There's basically 26 Bays (stations) from start to finish. Floors is Station 1 and 26 is cleaning and polishing the windows, countertops and floors before it goes out the door.
Right now we're pulling out four a day and parking them in the lot for pickup. But that's with the line full, from Bay 1 to Bay 26.
So what that means is, at four a day, obviously the line moves 4 times a day from Bay to Bay. So a house getting started in Bay 1, you won't see it come out the other end of the line for about seven days ... Bay 26.

You mean you missed the LBL for that!

Just kidding. It is a neat process seeing them be built and moving around from bay to bay

I dont know if it is or not Barry  I dont know why not either though. There was pictures all over the cafeteria floor and tables last week as someone was taking pics and printing them off.
I think you could throw one together pretty quickly in the yard. If the cash was there. They definitely arent chincey.

Why in the hell would FEMA care about cost?  They are a government agency, my money, your money not theirs  They could care less about cost.

If they are going to be made I am glad that they are being made at a place where I know someone who works there.  And better yet they are Made in America.

That sounds like a great idea.  Maybe on the front door and then add one of the little stickers that says removal of this sticker is punishable by law and will cause an immediate expulsion from your new home.

Speaking of stickers, this is what we're putting on the inside of all the doors.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180228/cec0725214801599e0d51d21e5fabae6.jpg)
