Still fighting RMSF the meds I'm on says no sun, well...
Today we just had to go shooting.
First Josie , Little GD , and I had to rebuild Rudy.
My life size deer target and put new cardboard on him.
By 10AM we had him the guns and a snack in the truck.
We just ran out to my super secret shooting /test range, 10 minutes out. We had to be fast it was 88* and full sun and papa was turning red.
I tossed the bench over the fence Josie took the chair/pad, shells range finder. I shouldered the guns and target. Dropped off the guns at the bench and trotted out a 100 yards. Jo' ranged me at 102, perfect.
On the way out I found an intact clay pigeon and propped it up on the deer target where I wanted her to aim.
Got her lined up and told her when she is ready send one down.
Before I was even looking at the target she fires and the clay is just dust on the prairie. DANG.
We shifted to the sticks and did 2 more with just the target, WOW.
I think with some trigger time we are going to have a deer down this fall.
I'm going to have to make some shorter sticks, I have a plan just for that.
Went out and took some hero pictures and loaded it all back up and came home .
I don't think I'll blister and peel ...
