High wind thunder and lightning pouring rain, and I was dry and snug as a bug in a rug in my full camo rain suit :yoyo: Yaye technology! The killer technique was an ultralight 7 foot ugly stick with 6 pound fluorocarbon line, a casting bubble with a Royal Coachman wet streamer and a slow deep retrieval, no pauses.

No wind, no thunder, no lighting, no rain - snug as a bug in a rug.

We feed our fish down this way. That keeps them fat and happy.
Nice trout by the way.

Ohhhhhh, so they are like Walmart fish. :laf:
"Made in China".... :originalhahaha:
You never fail when it comes to trout do you?
Very nice :congrats:
That was because the other fishermen are a bunch of candy asses and we're fraid they're going to melt in the rain 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😇. A good rain in my experience always gets the trout in a feeding mood, oxygenates the water washes all kinds of food in there etc. I am not so sure if that works with bass I don't believe I've ever bass fished in the rain on purpose may have to try it this year.
Rain suit- If you cannot adapt your environment to you, then you must adapt to it.
How sweet it is! Very nice trout. Have fished with about exactly that rig in rain and rain suit many times. Love it!
Great job on some great fish! Brookies are my favorite.
