For some reason, the system isn't sending you your activation e-mails to get you going.
Either that or AOL is ripping em right into your spam folder.
I'm trying to activate them manually as I see them come in. If I miss you, shoot me an e-mail at admin at finsandfur.net
River, I had that problem even without aol. Seems that the click here link on the registration conformation e-mail is not sending back the whole activation number. I had to do a copy/paste to the menu bar and then hit go in order to activate my registration. Make any sense?

Maybe this will help a little more. On my registration acknowledgment the e-mail says to click on a highlighted hyper text link. The problem with that link is that toward the end of the highlighted link the , u13 ;code=activation number is not highlighted and sent with the rest of the hypertext. And as a result of that you get sent back to a screen requesting a new activation number. It keeps sending a person in circles.

Ahhhhhh, that could be from two things.
One the code for some reason (breaks) itself on a line break.
or
Two, your e-mail program is not recogniszing it a link and breaking it on a line break.
FYI...for new comers.
Just the activation code can be copied and brought over here. Click on "Missed my activation email" under the log in info on the left side up there and it'll give you a window to enter that code.
I'll keep looking at it though. The SMF software folks have been unbelievable helpfull.
Well, I did not get anything as far as a registration confirmation, but you know me,
I just came over and tried to log in and it let me. So thanks for letting me in the door.
