Ok, I finally got this all set up, weaved together, and tested.  Everything is good to go.

I told you guys I wouldn't hit ya's up or pimp the place full of spam. The post is here as an offer if anyone should be interested.
For the record - Anyone with a currently active website hosted elsewhere and considering switching over....it is easily done...you wont have to lift a finger ... nothing is lost in the process.

Other details are now available on the site...or... you folks know where to find me if someone has questions.

Bopeye...You wouldnt be no fun skinny...

So I looked at it. does this mean ya would host my predator call page through our server? Ad how do I know which size package I'de need to purhase?

FinsnFur

It's not actually on this server. I'm paying for three servers, now.  And the hosting end is on their own two...which is also where the finsandfurhosting.com is at. But Yeah, not a problem Todd.

Which package?...Well not a total life or death situation since upgrading to a different pkg anytime is a simple process.
But I would guess the Starter would do what I guess you to have in mind. Unless your going to run a shopping cart off it. Or host all of your own photos, and post them widely around the bulletin boards. That package doesn't have the bandwidth for that.
The Starter pkg I set up after snooping at everyone elses pricing and pkg's, to be competitive, and it'll be a good deal for a small site with one way bandwidth.
One way, meaning bandwidth IN with traffic...but very little to none OUT through sales or image hosting.

Now if you kept putting your photos on Photobucket...then the Starter pkg. would be the ultimate for you, and still allow you to grow a bit.

To give a better perspective on bandwidth....which is traffic signals more or less. Every time someone goes to your site, it takes bandwidth to send them that page. If there's lots of pictures it takes more bandwidth to send them, and the bigger they are the more again.
If a site has pictures on it and they are linked to forums, it has the same effect when those pictures are viewed. The photos that members post here, dont effect my bandwidth a bit. They are fed off of either their sites or photobuckets bandwidth.
Sending e-mail uses bandwidth, receiving e-mail uses bandwidth, uploading files to your site uses bandwidth. You get the point.

Another example..Fins and Fur. NET uses just under 10 gig a month. But keep in mind we have a forum,  a web directory, a TopSites page, a blog page, and chat.
