....... Lesnar made for throwing that fight (last nite). The man who took it on the chin for 5 minutes from Shane Carwin, just curled up in a ball and let a lesser man (Cain) pound away on him.  Without even fighting back!  That had to be for BIG money because all the odds had Lesnar to win.

FinsnFur

That fights over three months old  ...and Lesner DID win.

I dont think he was paid to give Carwin his 5 minutes of fame either. Lesnar had been training for the fight for quite a while but he hadnt actually been in a legitimate fight for several months and damnear met his maker with that intestine infection he had after being hospitalized for what seemed like forever.

I think he was seriously over taken there for a minute, with this being his first bout after coming off his long road to recovery. Yeah he looked like a panzy azz there for a bit, but I think he thought he was a goner too.

But he pulled himself together, handed Carwin his azz and won the fight.

No, you misunderstand.  I'm talking about last nights fight with Velasquez.   Carwin is twice the fighter that Cain Velasquez is, yet Lesnar didn't even try to defend himself.  He just went into a fetal position and let Cain pound him.

FinsnFur

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, yeah he did that for a couple minutes with Carwin too.
I didn't see last nights fight yet, I cant afford those expensive TV Channels, but I'm kind of disgusted to hear Lesnar lost.

If you're disgusted now, wait till you watch the "fight".

You can watch the fight here, click on the first video with Dana White

He did get hit pretty good, they would try and close it, and it would just pop
right back open. They just packed it with Vaseline.

He just don't like gettin hit in the face.   :nono:   I watched it, just glad I didn't pay for it.  :laf:

No thats a good way to put it.....he doesnt take getting punched in the face very well. And the thing is he's never had a chance to get used to it :nono:

Looked like Lesnar took a big knee that put him down for Valesquez to pound him out.

I've watched a couple of Lesnar's fights and he really isn't that good, technically speaking. He is just so massive that he was like trying to stop a tank. A spider monkey can pound all over a gorilla, but eventually that gorilla is gonna grab him and then it's over. Same with Lesnar. Looks like to me the boy just got outclassed with skill and for sure ran into a guy that can hit and wasn't afraid of him.

How much money do those guys get for a fight?    :wo:

They both look pretty tough to me.   If I met them on the beach, I don't think I'd kick sand in their face.   :nono:

FinsnFur

All the way up to somewhere around $500,000 depending on negotiations and the MMA fighters worthiness or popularity value sorta speak.

I have a feeling Lesnar may be considering heading back to the relative safety of WWE.   He got into a staged staredown with the Undertaker after Sat nite's a$$ kicking'.   This may be a prelude to his WWE re-entry.

Probably be a better move health wise.  :eyebrownod:

Yeah, especially since he doesn't like to actually get hit.
