well i havent been on here much lately but i still drop in and check the post.  i am on vacation in florida again and doing some fishing. if i remember how to post pics on here i will share some pics with you. so far i have caught a few snook, jacks and blues but nothing big :argh: i will try to post some pics if i get some thats picture worthy.

I don't think many of us will feel to sorry for you not catching many.  After all you are in a warm place and "on vacation in Florida again".    :wink:   Have a good time and we will be looking forward to the pictures.

You know how a good idea comes along.  I like this better than pictures of the fish, unless the fish are being held by someone (nice looking) in a bikini.

well the fishing is picking up, i have caught close to 50 snook in the last two days and the biggest was just under 40 inches.  i will try to post some pics soon :biggrin:

Those are some nice looking snook.  Sounds like you're on em pretty good.

thanks Dave. if you ever get a chance to snook fish you should try it :biggrin: i got most of mine on a jig with 30 pd line and a heavy bass rig. had a few guys tell me they cant believe i got them with my rig, just gotta know how to use it i suppose :eyebrow: kind of funny i had some guys calling me the snook master :bowingsmilie:

fishing has started to pick up :eyebrow: got about 15 of these snook the other night . thats why my wrist was sore :yoyo:

What the heck is that? Do you eat or keep most of your catch down there?...very little of it?...or what?

It looks windier then a sonofa down there the way those palms are standing. By the way...look close, you can see that hooker approaching you in the background  :eyebrow:

lol @ nooky   jim these snook are very good to eat we had some the other night.. only allowed one a day, have to be 28 inches to 32 to keep, ive got several oversize :eyebrow: very very windy and a little cold at night

lol he didnt do it on purpose. he threw his jig out and the pelican dove down and got it, then we got it on the bank and grabed him by the beak and got the jig out :doh2:

well i cant let my dad out do me  i caught a pelican today :doh2:  he dove down and got my spoon :madd:  i caught over 200 blue fish today and my hands are cramping up. for a while it was every cast and you had one. most fish i have caught in one day :eyebrow:

And....I'm setting in my living room wearing a pullover sweatshirt with a space heater next to me, main while it's 11 degrees outside, and your in FLORIDA FISHING WITH YOUR HOODS UP.  :loco:

Jim the spot is not a hickey or herpes, its a red fish with a spot on it. thats there id dude. its been cold but its gonna warm up :biggrin:  not to bad if the wind isnt blowing. hey atleast i can set outside and not sit in the snow :shrug: gets old fishing every day you know what i mean :alscalls: got one more month and its back to wv

Where are you fishing, Dave.  Looks like the east coast?  I thought from another post you were in the keys, but there looks to be too much wave action in some of your pics.  I did try fishing for snook in the keys back in the 80's when I was single and had some winter time off, but really never had any luck.  Did good on baracudas, though.  For some reason they like the flats in the winter.  Oh yeah, no prostitutes, either  :innocentwhistle:

Dave im in port st lucie and i fish the indian river and i have been going up to fort pierce around the inlet. and yes it is the east coast :wink:  didnt do to good today i only caught pompano and just a few blues. might go out in the boat saturday for some mackeral or tuna :eyebrow: getting warm again, it was in the 70s today and supposed to get in the 80s :biggrin:
