That cat wasnt suppose to be let out of the bag yet. I wanted to surprise everyone with the pics.
But yep, it's true. Planning a trip up north to the Bering sea this weekend to do some crabbing. I was checking my nets last night to make sure everythings good to go. I'm nervous and excited both. :eyebrow:
That video gave me some good ideas. Thanks Jerry :eyebrow:

Remember if you hook a great white you don't want to try and lip them like you would a bass. You want to roll out of the kayak and try to get them in a rear naked choke is how I've heard it's done.  :eyebrow:  I would also suggest packing a SideArm in case you get harassed by the Iranian navy!

Sounds like nasty has had some experience with this.  Jim, you will want to take note of his post.

As I understand thiogs you'll want to jump out the kayak onto it's back & gently nudge it til it rolls over. Apparently they become very docile like that. Then all you gotta do is remount it and,,,,,   wait a minute,, I think that's for something else.  :wo: :wo:  But give it a whirl & let us know!! Go GoPro too!!  :yoyo: :yoyo:

Don't worry about it Glen.  Jim has forgotten all about that sort of thing.

I've only seen one Great White in the Mississippi, and it was from the bridge as I went across.
He was a small one though and I think they caught him, "held him by his tail" and took him back to lake Erie. :congrats:
