Ol blue eye

We went out Sunday afternoon for a little while. We were perched atop a knoll waiting for a groundhog to pop it's head up so I could wreck it with the 5MM.
It was cool & maybe 70* with a rather stiff breeze out of the NNW. After about 45 minutes Diane said she was chilly & was headed down to the truck to read.
I told her to blow the horn in about an hour unless she wanted to hit another field 1st. I sat there for about 30 more mintues with no luck & decided to pack it
in & go to another field. As I got over to where I could see the truck there was Diane with the FireBall, her chair & her shooting stick. I looked to the right & seen
a hog standing up watching. It bolted for the weeds so I went back & sat where I was to wait a while. It appeared to be a young one so I figured Diane would
get a shot purdy quick. I sat there & watched the clouds & surrounding area for a bit when suddenly I heard "CRACK"....."THWOP!!!!" I knew right away what
that sound meant!!    So I packed up & went down to check things out. Diane had her camera already so we headed down to where the hog was.
We couldn't find it at 1st & Diane started to think she missed. I told her we'll find it. I heard the "THWOP". So we started to comb the area when all of a sudden
I heard "It's right heeeerre.... OMG!!" Well when I walked over I could NOT believe my eyes either. The shot was never lasered but my best guess was
135- 150yds. Opened this critter up big time!! I believe the proper term would be RUINT. And the 221 FireBall did it!!

Diane says Thanks for the nice comments. She was surprised as I was at the carnage. And this comes from a Woman that has blown the head clean off of them before.    Always something more to shoot for I tell her. 

Yeah I was gonna call this one ol blue eyeS but we found one of them.

Thanks & Thanks Dave!! She did let me shoot HER new LC9 9MM at the range a couple times Wednesday. 

No she doesn't Doug!!    She fessed up last year when I asked her what she was waiting for. She said "A head shot". 

@ riverboss!! She took this one out all on her own.    She really makes me proud when we go out.    She HaMeR's eggs at a little over 100yds with my 17HMR at the range too. 

I'm hoping we can start getting some videos made soon. I enjoy running the camera for her.    Plus I've found quite a few folks on the net that really enjoy watching them.
