Last year 449,000 Californians received a jury summons to which they replied..."I am not a citizen, therefore I cannot sit on a jury."

The number one source for jury summons candidates is the VOTER REGISTRATION list.

Think about that for a minute.

The jury is still out on the veracity of this claim. As screwy as California is, I would not be surprised that the number not far off the mark.
