The "Evil Black Rifle" is a DPMS, 5.56, 20" barrel, removable carry handle, 1 in 9 twist, fixed stock, for some reason it has a picatinny rail on the bottom of the handguards, I assume it's for mounting a light of some kind, but it's also how we use to mount our M203 grenade launchers. If you find a grenade launcher to mount to it, just let me know. Bet I can knock more than a tooth out with it.

Nice new rifle Bopeye, hope you get to break it in (on some live targets) soon enough. Question though, are you sure the 203s you had were mounted on a rail? Im sure if you think back youll recall that they are actually mounted to the barrel and have thier own upper handgaurd piece.

I stand corrected CavTrooper, you are correct. That whole upper hand guard was an entirely different piece wasn't it.
It was more of a square type hand guard. Sorry 'bout that, I haven't fired one (M203) since 1992 so I guess my memory is starting to go somewhat. It's been a few days since the 19Delta vernacular was the dominant priority........
