I think that was on TV a while back. I'm sure there's several instances of this happening. But the one I saw the guy was using some kind of homemade lure and a lot of it.

He said, "my wife told me I was crazy and for gods sake be carefull."

The front hooves of a doe will just sting and bruise (assuming you gaurd your skull) but the rear legs of a (half sedated) mature buck can throw a 190 pound man approximately 8'-6" in the air.

My brother is not the brightest, he was supposed to load the dart with *half of six* (CC's of Tranquelizer) which he calculated as 2. Damn public schooling.

even though this guy might be living today this year two people were killed in pa by a buck that gored em. he was lucky he was only using his hooves.

I wonder what master that buck studied under.......

Those trained in the "School of Hard Knocks" would call that hunter.........."one whipped pup".............

But any REAL hunter would have drawn his side arm and looked that buck right in the eye and said

"Go ahead, make my day"

By the way, did you see the clip of the boar hunt on the same page? Reminded me of one of the stories you told here a while back LOL.
