Any of you lads ever use a casting bubble on your spinning rod with flys? Deadly on all species, bass and. Crawfly, BAM ! Wooly bugger in a trout pond or river, POW!
I have used this method in fact it is one of my favorite ways to get a really light lure out to where I want it when using one of my ultra light rods. it tears the bluegill up.
Neva done it :nono:
JC, i use it bassin to cast weightless weedless powerbait worms= deadly! Mr. Slag, use it on bluegill too!
Casting bubble with flies has been my main way to fish for trout in backpack high lakes for the past 38 years. Super effective.
