Stuck together.

Talked to the fella that shot this 10 pointer while still dragging the other 10 pointer with him. They aren't sure if the racks will come apart or not. It might have to be a dual mount. These were taken within 20 minutes of my house. This is the best I can do for a picture. I had to scan the picture that was given to me to post this. Sorry for the quality.

Now that is pretty cool. Except if they have to do a dual mount (which is what would have done anyways  :sneer: ) then the taxi will have some work to do with the way they cut off that other ones head. They left no cape. I bet a good taxidermist could fix it though.

That is cool. I was wondering if it was real, but it sounds like you already confirmed it.

The taxidermist will just replace the cape. Capes cut too short or shot up,  is pretty common ground. There's a pretty good market on capes for that reason.

I asked about the short cape & the fella has the entire cape from both deer. The short cape was almost black I was told. I'm sure it will be quite awhile before it's done but I'll try to get some pictures next year to add to this thread.   Should be interesting!!

I wanna see it too!! He's gonna talk to a finish carpenter friend & see if he can get it mounted in a corner at home. That would be cool!!

I told him if that doesn't work he can mount it on the hallway walls!! :roflmao: :roflmao:
