Today I had the distinct honor to visit with my hunting partners dad, a gentleman and gunsmith of the highest order. As usual I am never satisfied with a firearm and am always getting him to tweak them for me. Today he was feeling good enough to chat so we did. I love history and he is a walking history book. He told me about seeing the first car come through this town, training bird dogs for the country singer John Anderson, the days when he used mules to farm several hundred acres, how the original highway came through, etc. I could have sat there all day and listened to him. As I was listening to his fascinating stories I noticed a picture up on one of his bookshelves. At first I thought maybe it was Elvis or Johnny Cash, but as I got closer I recognized the fella. It was none other than my hunting partner, Mr. Coyotehunter1 himself. I did what any self respecting big mouth would do. I pulled out my trust cell phone and snapped a quick pic before Chet could tackle me. I promised it wouldn't go on Fins and Fur, but we all know that was a lie even before it came outta my mouth now didn't we.........

Here's none other than the coyote hunter back when he first started hunting coyotes in the early 70's. He was also guiding people on Hawg hunts in these days, you can just see the power in this fella. I was waiting on him to start singing "A boy named Sue". Here is none other than Coyotehunter1 and his wife back in the day.

I need to have you take a picture of me with that cell phone. It looks like it takes about 10 years off the real age of a person.

Neat picture and fits in nicely.

Chet is a very humble man if you get the chance to meet him. Wish I was in Bop's shoes sometimes and got to talk to Chet a lot. He has a lot of knowledge and experiences he can share.

problem is no one's figured out what yet.

Jim, actually that frame is very, very old. Also it has much historical value. It once held an original oil painting of General Robert E. Lee (CSA). Lee personally presented the framed art work along with several other items to one of my great grand fathers for saving the general's life during the battle of Chattanooga. For preservation, the oil painting was later taken from the frame, and along with the other Lee items given to the Smithsonian in Washington, DC.

I guess my mom thinks a lot of my wife to put her in that frame of mine.

You know the ones... Naked baby on a blanket.... Baby in bathtub... or maybe she even took a pic of his first diaper changing...
