Everyone keep my buddy Carl in your prayers. He had a mild heart attach last night and had a heart cath today. Triple bypass is scheduled for tomorrow. So y'all lift him up to the man that makes a difference.
I know for a fact it makes you feel better when you see all your buddies pulling for ya.
I will definitely keep him in my prayers for a successful surgery and quick recovery.
Jerry

That tough ol goat's gonna pull outta this meaner then ever. I feel sorry for who ever bunks with him this year at the LBL...woooo wee :holdon:
Carl is one of the best and he needs to get well as there are several coyotes up here with his name on them. Thoughts are sent his way.
Prayers, thoughts and good vibes on there way.
Bad news for sure. Prayers sent.
will do...
Be thinking about you Carl!! We hope & pray you will be fine soon!! Get well soon my Friend!!!!!!!!!
Just saw this post - hope Carl is doing well.
I went to the hospital and checked on my buddy, Carolina Coyote, last night. He had a quadruple bypass on Monday. He was feeling much better last night, than when I talked with him earlier in the week. He was hoping to get to come home today but that's not going to happen. His heart still has a flutter to it, as of last night they thought they might have to take him down and restart his heart to get it in rhythm.
He must be feeling better already talking about going hunting.
Thank You for the update Ronnie!! It certainly is appreciated!! :yoyo: :yoyo:
Come on Carl!!!!!!!! :yoyo: :yoyo:
Thats starting to sound a LITTLE better I think. What does "take him down and restart his heart" mean?
Is that like a quick round trip :holdon:
Just saw this. Carl, we'll keep you in our prayers for a speedy and full recovery. Got to get your heart in order so when you get a chance at a big buck at the Wanderosa you'll be up for the task.
Dave
That means they are going to stop his heart somehow and then use the paddles to start it back I think. All I know is it's out of rhythm or something along that line. From talking with the nurse it's common on heart surgery patients.
Been praying for you right along and glad to get some news that sounds better. Carl, hope your pulse settles down and you don't need the heart stopping moment.
Carl we all know your strong enough to get through this and we are all here to help you through it. God bless you my friend.
Got a text from Carolina Coyote yesterday, he is still in the horsepital but feeling better. Said, "he hasn't felt this good in years." The doctor is holding him ransom, wanting to run more test today. Carl thought he would get to come home yesterday. Maybe today or tomorrow, if the doctors see what they want to see in the tests.
Thats awesome. With a brand new three way in there making things flow a lot better, I bet he does feel pretty good. Good for him
Thanks for the update Ronnie
Yes,, Thank You for the updates Ronnie!! I'm happy for Carl & his Family N Friends!! :yoyo: :yoyo: He's gonna be back out slingin lead soon!!!!!!!

Super glad to hear your typing again Carl. Rest now for the upcoming splurge of energy you'll be using to go hunting with.
Carl, glad to see you getting better. I'd imagine each passing day will bring your more strength and stamina. Winter coyotes better watch out!

I figured ya did, but I had to yank on your chain sense your feeling better. If we didn't raz ya a little you might think we didn't like ya
You're doing fine Carl!! It's all in the rehab as you well know!! You're gonna be just fine!!
Mom had a double 18 months ago at 82 & she was doing exceptionally well within 6 weeks!! Even went back to bowling 1 game a week after 6 months!!
Carl, I never doubted that you wouldn't bounce back, but it's great to hear you confirm it. Take care my friend.
Great news, Carl! Glad to hear it. You'll be up and back out in the woods in no time.
Thats wonderful! :congrats:
And yep, the lack of energy is part of your recovery. Hang in there
Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers, The operation was a complete success. The Surgeon was a very talented guy and I have not had any adverse affects and feel improvement everyday, the Hospital staff was the best in the business and I am so thankful for their service. You guys are right I can't wait to get back out there and sling some lead. I have started working up some new loads for the .223 with some Berger Bullets.
Hope all of you have a happy and prosperous New Year.
Carl go watch someone else shoot first. When you see their body convulse at the shot you will realize you ay need a week or two more of healing to be able to take the force. Glad to hear it's going well.
Good deal Carl :congrats: Good to hear.
Let us know how the new load goes. I bought Bergers one time. Cant remember why though. I dont recall if they were cheaper or what possessed me to get them. Long story short...I ended up pulling everyone of them. It cost me a new puller to boot lol
Glad to hear you're doing so well Carl!! Hang in there & you'll be fine in no time!!
Glad to read that you are doing good and are thinking about shooting. Just take your time and wait for the docs to give the go ahead and you will be fine. As for the Berger bullets - I use them in my bench gun and love them. I have also used their varmint bullets and they do a number on anything they hit. Enjoy working on the loads.
Jerry
My Grandson has been using the Berger Bullets and has great success with them, My 223 loves a 69 grain bullet and Berger has a 70 grain match grade but the 69 grain I'm using now is a Sierra 69 Grain Match King and it works fine. For now I will load up the bullets and let the Grandson do the shooting, thing are going to good to mess up now.
