I recenty picked up a nice fleshing beam and plan to put up some fur, coyotes mostly this fall and winter.  I have searched old threads on different trapping forums and the internet regarding a good fleshing knife and get some mixed opinions on various double handled fleshing knives.  I am thinking a Necker 600 would do nicely.  I just thought I might ask the opinions of the members here to see what they are using.  If anyone has any pics of there fur shed set up/fleshing beam set up I would appreciate seeing that as well.  In the next day or so I will be ordering some kind of fleshing knife I hope to have a couple dogs on the gambrel by the end of the week.  Thanks in advance :yoyo: MH

If you buy a Necker...you'll never buy another knife of any kind.

Now of course my opinion there is biased as heck  :sneer: because I haven't found anything that compares.
Well worth the $60

I got the knife in the mail a few days ago.  Nice quality!  Hopefully get a chance to use it soon. I like the fact that it has flat spots on the handle guards so it will not roll around too.   Thanks Jim. Greg

Great!...I think you'll really like that knife.
Just remember not to sharpen it with a hone or a sharpening steel.
